Dexter is quickly becoming the most popular shows on Showtime. The storyplot revolves around Dexter Morgan, who by day can be a blood spatter analyst to the Miami Metro Police Department, but by night is really a serial killer. But he's an excellent serial killer - he only kills those who kill people, so in simple terms, he's a serial-killer killer.

While using exploding popularity of Dexter, it turned out recently announced that Dexter could be returning to get a fifth season within the fall of 2011. Edward James Olmos - Battlestar Galactica's Edward James Olmos also joins Dexter Season 6's cast, playing a school religious studies professor in a very major story arc. It is not Olmos' first visit to Miami, because he played in all 5 seasons of Miami Vice.

Mos Def - Rapper/actor Mos Def is another notable actor who may have joined the cast of Dexter Season 6. His character is considered being an ex-con, who is still connected to the criminal underworld in Miami. He has claimed to have a spiritual conversion, which means his storyline may intertwine itself with Edward James Olmos' character.

Operating these new characters announced, and plenty more to come, Dexter Season 6 will certainly be the most exciting seasons of Dexter yet!
